    What Our Clients Say

My Boss really appreciate that you can deliver goods on time every time, we are happy with our past 5 years working time.thank you Eric, you really did a good job.

It’s Just a note to say thank you for your battery packs,as usual they all tested good, I even CC my friend Bob who is also dealing with battery biz, don’t shame on me, did i say shame on me, sorry about that, you just did a good job every time.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: What capacity do I need?

This will depend on how much power your device uses and how long you want it to run between charges. Capacity is usually measured in milliamp-hours (mAh) or watt-hours (Wh). Contact us to find a suitable solution.

    Q2: What’s the difference between Lithium-ion and Lithium-polymer?

These are two types of rechargeable lithium batteries. Lithium-ion batteries usually come in a rigid metal case, while Lithium-polymer batteries are often encased in flexible pouches. They have different characteristics in terms of energy density, capacity, and safety.

Q3: Are all lithium batteries rechargeable?

No, there are also non-rechargeable (or “primary”) lithium batteries. Lithium-ion and Lithium-polymer are the most common types of rechargeable (or “secondary”) lithium batteries.

    Q4: What is the C-rate?

The C-rate is a measure of the rate at which a battery is charged or discharged. For example, a 1C rate means the battery’s discharge current will discharge the entire battery in 1 hour.

    Q5: What’s the life expectancy of a lithium-ion battery?

Lithium-ion batteries typically last for hundreds to about a thousand charge cycles. Their lifespan can be influenced by various factors including temperature, how they’re used, and how they’re charged.

Q6: Do lithium batteries have memory effect?

No, lithium-ion and Lithium-polymer batteries do not suffer from the memory effect, which can reduce the effective capacity of some types of batteries if they’re repeatedly recharged before being fully discharged.

Q7: What safety features should a lithium battery have?

Look for batteries with built-in protection against overcharge, over-discharge, over-current, short circuit, and overheating.

Q8: Are there any shipping restrictions for lithium batteries?

Yes, because of their high energy content and the potential for dangerous reactions if damaged or incorrectly handled, there are strict regulations for shipping lithium batteries, especially by air.

Q9: Can I replace my NiMH or NiCd batteries with Lithium-ion?

This isn’t generally recommended without consulting the device manufacturer, because lithium batteries have a higher voltage and require a different type of charger. Replacing other types of batteries with lithium without appropriate modifications can be dangerous.

Q10: Can I use a higher capacity lithium battery than the original?

Yes, generally a higher capacity battery will simply last longer between charges. However, it may also be larger and heavier, and there may be limits to the charging circuit in the device. Always consult the device manufacturer if you’re unsure.
